Leoncie is 42 years old, she is married, and she has one child 12 years old. Leoncie lives in the Ngoma, a region of Rwamagana situated in the Eastern Province of Rwanda. Here, Leoncie has a business sewing various models of clothes. She has been in this business for about twenty-five years and she starts sewing early in the morning hours until late in the evening.Leoncie needs to request a Kiva loan via Vision Finance Company so that she can expand her business through adding more sewing machines. With these additional sewing machines, Leoncie hopes to sew different styles of clothes which in turn will attract more customers.With this loan, Leoncie hopes to create more jobs for the people in her community and she also hopes to earn more profits than previously.
