Mrs. Arlene Jumawan is a forty-three-year-old resident of P2 Minsubong, Tangub City. She is married to Concordio Jumawan, a security guard who is currently receiving an average salary of not less than PHP 4,000 per month. To help her husband meet their family's daily needs, she decided to begin a business buying and selling dried fish and longganisa (sausage). She has been able to maintain this business for three years. She is earning an average net income of not less than PHP 3,000 per month, an amount that is so beneficial for her family. She joined Paglaum MPC nine months ago. She has the opportunity to borrow up to PHP 13,000 as her third cycle loan. She would use the money as capital to invest in her existing business buying and selling dried fish and longganisa.
