Microfinance - Kuña Guapa Group : Paraguay

photo $600 of $3,775 raised.

Started raising funds on Feb 19, 2010

This group from the SBarrio Arroyo Porá⬝ apartments grew as a result of making contact with one of the foundation"s constituents. All of the women are involved in productive activities, such as: clothing sales, kiosk (snack) sales, cosmetic sales, sales of baked goods, fruit and vegetable sales, sales of school supplies and photocopy services, sweet treat sales, etc. Each lady runs her own business.Vilma sells clothing in a boutique that she created after becoming part of the Committee for the Women of Kuña Guapa. She opens her business very early and offers good quality merchandise to all of her neighbors. She attends to her business with the help of her children.Vilma tells us that the income from her business helps meet the household expenses that they used to rely solely on her husband"s income for. She appreciates the committee very much. It is because of it that she was inspired to start her own business.
