Lynda Carter shares views on new Wonder Woman show

Lynda Carter official provided pic.jpgBACK in September, Lynda Carter - famed for her iconic portrayal of Wonder Woman in the 70s TV series - gave us her thoughts about plans for a new movie featuring the superheroine.

Since then the concept seems to have morphed into a new TV show, with Ally McBeal showrunner David E. Kelley scripting the pilot and Adrianne Palicki set to wield the golden lasso.

Carter tells the Baltimore Sun she is confident the new show will be a success: "I think it is an amazing role to play. I know she is going to be really nervous about it, just because you would be. But I have a lot of confidence in David Kelley and what he's going to come up with. David Kelley's so talented, and that's really where it needs to be, in the writing.

"I think the story needs to be retold. It needs to have a fresh look at it. It affected a lot of people. I think it's time, I think it's important to have it out there again."

On the casting of Adrianne, the 59-year-old legend says: "I would never offer her any advice. Nor would she probably want any. She's an actress and she's a good actress and she's beautiful, and I hope she kicks b
