Volunteers gathered in McDonough, Georgia to pack more emergency shelter kits to distribute to families in Haiti that were affected by the earthquake. This is in addition to the approx. 500 shelter kits that were prepared by volunteers in Santo Domingo, Dominican Repiublic and have already been distributed in Haiti. Habitat plans to send 10,000 shelter kits total to Haiti.This is part of the early recovery phase of Habitat's long-term response to the Haiti earthquake.
