GAME of Thrones star Mark Addy is to be a special guest at the next Movie Mania event held at the National Space Centre in Leicester.
Mark played Robert Baratheon in the medieval fantasy series based on George R. R. Martin's fantasy novels.
Best known on the big screen for his role in The Full Monty, Mark also appeared alongside Heath Ledger in A Knight's Tale and portrayed Friar Tuck in Ridley Scott's 2010 film Robin Hood.
Joining Mark for this charitable event on September 22 and 23 will be costumed characters, including Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, Predator, Iron Man, Loki, Batman, Indiana Jones, Captain Jack Sparrow, Jedi and some "dirty stinking apes" from Planet of the Apes.
In addition the Replica Prop Board team will be on hand with one of the UK's largest collections of movie-accurate items and costumes, as well as offering insider tips on making props of your own.
Pirate School, film and TV prosthetic make-up demonstrations, movie cars and a special treasure hunt with Indiana Jones some of the other attractions to keep family and fans busy all day.
Malika Andress, head of marketing at the National Space Centre said: "This will be the fifth Movie Mania event we have run and each one just gets better. We are over the moon to be joined by Mark, as well as all the iconic movie characters."
The event is for charity, with all monies raised going to major charities, including Help 4 Heroes.
The National Space Centre is the UK's largest visitor attraction and research facility dedicated to space. It opened to the public in June 2001 and has welcomed over 2 million visitors.
