Indie books are definitely doing well again this month, with many new books going through multiple printings, several of them up to fourth and fifth printings. Brian K Vaughan's Saga looks like it'll be taking over the top of the charts for a while, but the Walking Dead continues to rise in sales. Buffy & TMNT continue to be joined by Fatale and Magic TG and Star Wars Dawn of the Jedi in the top hundred, and Jonathan Hickman's new book Manhattan Projects and Conan are only just outside.
133 indie books charted this month, 1 down on last month. The bottom book sold 3,276, over 1,500 down on last month. In total those books sold approximately 1,153,980, a bit down on last month's 1,257,329. Average sales are 8,677 per book, down on last month's 9,389. As usual, UK and European sales from Diamond UK are not reported in this chart.
This month Image snatch the top indie publisher spot with 6.66% dollar share and a 5.59 market share, followed by IDW with 5.74% dollar share and 4.71% market share, Dark Horse with a 5.24% dollar share and a 3.98% market share, Dynamite with a 2.90% dollar share and a 2.38% market share and Boom with 1.42% dollar share and 1.27% market share.
