NEWS BRIEF: Cisco Systems Inc (NASDAQ:CSCO) is reportedly giving up on Web email as a source of revenue. As reported by The Wall Street Journal late this evening, "Cisco Systems is pulling the plug on its Web-based email service for businesses a little over a year after the networking giant first introduced the product in November 2009, the company announced in a blog post Tuesday evening.
