Uma Thurman and Jessica Biel have signed on as rival soccer moms vying for the attention of Gerard Butler in the comedy Playing the Field , Variety reports.The film sees Butler as a professional soccer player who winds up coaching his son's youth team. Biel will appear as his character's ex-wife and Thurman the mother of another child on the team. Playing the Field is set to be directed by Seven Pounds 's Gabrielle Muccino who, earlier today , was rumored to be up for helming Adaline for Summit Entertainment.
