Mila Kunis defends the lesbian sex scenes between her character Lilly and Natalie Portman's Nina in Darren Aronofsky's ballet thriller Black Swan.
Kunis, 27, tells Total Film: "It's the story of Nina's downward spiral, mentally. Because everything is falling apart around her, crazy things start happening."
Black Swan - already getting a lot of buzz from events such as last month's London Film Festival - is released in the UK on February 11, 2011.
Darren Aronofsky previously directed Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain and The Wrestler and is helming Hugh Jackman's next Wolverine movie.
