Stop-Motion 'Star Wars' Revitalizes LEGO Adaptations

Since toy building-block fans, both children and adults, have seemingly constructed LEGO-everything, you'd think, at this point, it would be impossible to craft innovative, entertaining, and noteworthy interlocking art forms. Somehow, despite that overabundance of blocks, though, a group of impressively skilled stop-motion 'Star Wars' fans has painstakingly pieced together an admirable and incredible film adaptation.

The 2-minute, 12-second piece (after the break) actually manages to capture the seminal moments of the entire original trilogy -- with the addition of some electrifying background guitar action. The creators added some pretty hilarious dialogue, as well, including a modernized "I am your father" moment, and a great "take your son to work day" scene.
