Sorn Nary, age 41, is married and lives with her husband in Siem Reap province, Cambodia. (Nary's husband is pictured because Nary was not available.) She has three children. She sells various kinds of vegetables at a local market in the province, earning approximately US $4.50 per day. By doing so, she is able to cover her family's expenses, especially the cost of her children�"s education. She has been in this business since 2005. Her husband is a butcher, earning a gross income of US $25 per day. Their standard of living has improved since she started her business, so she wants a loan to expand it. Nary is requesting a loan of US $800 to buy pigs to slaughter for sale. This is her first loan from CREDIT, Kiva's partner.
